How does the AI resume analysis work?

Accepted Answer

Upload a resume as PDF, DOCX, RTF or plain text and DYNIK reads it with an AI language model: it reports the skills, work experience, education and qualifications it found, the gaps it noticed, and suggestions on wording and formatting. The output is a draft for you to review against your own experience, not a verdict. It does not score your resume against a particular employer's screening system or predict whether it will pass one. The free plan keeps one resume at a time.

Is DYNIK free to use?

Yes, on both sides, and no card is needed. A free job-seeker account includes 1 resume stored at a time, with analysis, 5 job applications a month, 1 job alert, ranked matches, application tracking and salary insights; it does not include cover letters, Quick Apply or interview prep. A free employer account includes 1 job post at a time (drafts count), 5 resume views a month and 10 message credits a month. Paid plans raise those limits. Every job-seeker account, free or paid, has 5 message credits a month for messaging on DYNIK (a message with an attachment or voice note uses 3), and more can be bought. Job distribution (beta), for job feeds and posting through your own job-board accounts, is included from the Starter plan. Other advanced employer workflows (recruiting agent workflows, ATS connectors, background checks and e-signatures) are beta or limited availability and are enabled per employer during onboarding, so signing up does not turn them on. Video screening and live video interviews are not available yet.

How does the job matching work?

DYNIK compares your parsed resume, skills, experience level, location, work preferences, and stated goals against job requirements to rank relevant opportunities. The matching system combines structured profile data with job content so you can focus on roles that fit your background instead of manually filtering every listing. Job listings currently cover the United States only.

Can employers search for candidates?

Yes, on the Starter plan and above; the Free employer plan does not include candidate search. Employers can search with natural language queries like "Python developers with 5+ years experience in machine learning who have worked at startups." DYNIK turns those queries into structured filters and rankings. Search covers only job seekers who choose to be visible to employers; everyone who applies to your roles is in your applications list. DYNIK is new, so that pool is small today. Recruiting agent workflows, in beta, can also monitor saved criteria and surface candidates for review.

What ATS systems do you integrate with?

DYNIK has connector workflows for ATS tools (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby), CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot), and e-signature and background-check providers. All of them are limited availability: we set each one up with the employer during onboarding, so confirm the tool you need with us first. Calendar sync is not available yet.

How do you protect my data?

Security and privacy are foundational to DYNIK. We use industry-standard security practices including encryption at rest and in transit, secure AWS infrastructure, role-based access control, and data-rights workflows. Our Privacy Policy sets out who can receive your data, including the service providers that run DYNIK (hosting, AI processing, payments, analytics), the employers or candidates you choose to interact with, third-party providers you connect, professional advisers, and authorities or business successors where the policy permits. Your resume is private by default; you choose whether employers can find it in search. Anyone with an account, job seeker or employer, can ask to delete it and its data from the Privacy tab of Settings in the app (app.dynik.com/settings). The deletion runs after a 30-day grace period, during which it can be cancelled. Employers can also email support@dynik.com.

What makes DYNIK different from LinkedIn Jobs or Indeed?

DYNIK is different from traditional job boards in several ways: (1) Resume analysis: the platform parses resumes and gives actionable feedback. (2) Profile-based matching: jobs are ranked using skills, experience, preferences and profile data, and each match carries a scorecard showing what lined up. (3) Unified platform: job seekers and employers work in the same marketplace. (4) Core employer tools: employers can post jobs, review applicants, and subscribe to a paid plan. (5) Advanced recruiting workflows: saved searches, outreach, connectors, and automation are beta or limited availability, and we turn the limited ones on per employer on request. Video interviews are not available yet.

How does the cover letter generation work?

Pick one of your resumes, paste the job description, and choose a tone. DYNIK reads both and drafts a cover letter that connects your background to the requirements of the role. You can copy the letter, download it as a text file, or regenerate it. It is not attached to your applications automatically, so add it yourself where an employer asks for one. Starter plan users get 5 AI cover letters a month, Professional users 25 a month, and Enterprise plans have no cap; the Free plan does not include AI cover letters.

What is a recruiting workflow?

A recruiting agent is a beta saved workflow that works from criteria you define, such as skills, experience, location, and role requirements. It can search and rank candidates against those criteria for recruiter review, but it is not sold as a fully autonomous production recruiting system.

Does DYNIK support technical hiring?

Accepted Answer

Not fully yet. Live coding interviews and async video screening are not available yet, so contact us if you need them. Coding assessment workflows run only for supported employer pilots, so they are not something an employer can switch on by signing up.

How do I get started with DYNIK?

Job seekers sign up at app.dynik.com/signup, verify the account, and upload a resume; the analysis runs on upload and ranked matches follow from the parsed profile. Employers sign up, post a first job, and review applicants. No credit card is required for a free account on either side, and either can upgrade later.
